Everything on My Fresh Taste Kitchen that does not belong to a narrower section lives here: weeknight dinners, one-pan chicken, slow-cooker beef, baked pasta, sheet-pan vegetables, and the sweet things that do not fit under Donuts. It is the widest part of the site, and the best place to start if you are looking for something to cook tonight rather than a specific dish.
How to use this section
Every recipe here follows the same shape. The written part explains what actually decides the result — the temperature the pan should reach, the point at which a sauce thickens, the reason a batter turns tough. The recipe card at the bottom gives the ingredients, the quantities and the steps in order, and it prints on one page.
Short on time — look for recipes with a total time under 30 minutes in the card header.
Cooking for a crowd — the slow-cooker and sheet-pan recipes scale most easily.
Using what is in the fridge — the ingredient notes list the substitutions that work and the ones that do not.
If a quantity looks wrong to you, it probably is. Tell us and it gets corrected.
This is the widest section of the site, so it is worth knowing where the more focused collections are. Morning cooking, from eggs to quick bakes, lives in Easy Breakfast. Fried and baked sweets are grouped in Donuts. Long, slow dinners and one-pot braises are in Beef Stew. If a recipe here fits one of those better, that is where you will also find it.
