- 6 Fuji apples peeled and sliced
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp nutmeg
- ¾ cup brown sugar 165 g
- ¾ cup old fashioned oats 68 g
- ½ cup all-purpose flour 60 g
- 8 tbsp unsalted butter 113 g, diced into ½-inch cubes
Mix apple filling:
Combine sliced apples, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a large bowl. Mix well, then pour into the slow cooker and spread evenly.Make oat topping:
In another large bowl, mix together brown sugar, old-fashioned oats, and all-purpose flour. Add the cubed butter and use two forks or a pastry cutter to work it into the oat mixture until crumbly.Add topping:
Distribute the oat topping evenly over the apples in the slow cooker.Cook and cool:
