Banana Bread with Cake Mix

Make banana bread with cake mix by mashing ripe bananas, stirring in yellow cake mix and eggs, then baking in small loaf pans for 30 minutes.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 3 large ripe bananas more if dry
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 handful chocolate chips optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven and prep pans:

    Heat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line 2 small loaf pans (about 5x3 inches).
  • Mash bananas and mix batter:

    In a big bowl, fork-mash bananas until smooth. Stir in cake mix and eggs; combine thoroughly.
  • Fill pans and add toppings:

    Evenly split batter into the prepared pans. Sprinkle chocolate chips, walnuts, or other toppings on top if desired.
  • Bake until toothpick clean:

    Bake for 25-35 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center emerges clean.
